The Company:
Hokkaido Services is headed up by John Bartlett, an Australian with 30 years experience in all aspects of the construction industry.
John's building industry career began in Canada in the early 80s, where he trained as a hard plasterer.
He later ran his own business building luxury homes in the ski town of Whistler,
learning about the unique challenges of building in an alpine environment.
After 15 years in Canada, John returned to Australia to establish a building company, specialising in hotel bar design and fit out.
Japan beckoned and John relocated to Hokkaido 7 years ago, discovering a niche in the Niseko construction industry.
He has developed a strong network of suppliers, tradespeople and local knowledge to establish Hokkaido Services, specialising in sourcing quality materials and labour at competitive rates.
